Terms + Conditions

A. Ready Resumes will be under no liability to users and recruiters in respect of any loss or damage (including consequential loss or damage) which may be suffered or incurred or which may arise directly or indirectly in respect of services supplied by Ready Resumes.

B. Ready Resumes will not be liable for any damages (including direct, indirect, consequential, incidental and exemplary) in the event that this site is unavailable to users (by virtue of interruption, suspension or termination) for any reason, including due to computer or communications link downtime attributable to malfunction, upgrades or preventative or remedial maintenance activities.

C. All intellectual property on the Ready Resumes site belongs to Ready Resumes or its licensors, and users obtain no interest in that property.

D. Users warrant that all information they provide on the site is accurate, does not breach any law or the rights of any person. Users must not impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent their affiliation with a person or entity.

E. Users acknowledge that Ready Resumes may use all intellectual property in material provided by users throughout the world without restriction free of charge.

F. Users agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

G. These terms and conditions are subject to change at the sole discretion of Ready Resumes.

H. Users acknowledge that all correspondence concluded on the Ready Resumes site and all activities of Ready Resumes are made and concluded in Queensland, Australia.

I. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the state of Queensland. The parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts exercising jurisdiction there.

J. Users warrant that they have not relied on any representation made by Ready Resumes which has not been expressly stated in these terms and conditions, or upon any descriptions, illustrations or specifications contained in any document including publicity material produced by Ready Resumes.

K. Without limiting the application of Paragraph j., users shall indemnify Ready Resumes, its officers, employees and agents in relation to defamation, liable, slander of title, infringement of copyright, infringement of trademarks or names of publication titles, unfair competition, breach of Trade Practices or Fair Trading legislation, violations of rights of privacy, confidential information, licences, loyalty rights or other intellectual property rights.

L. Cancellations: Once your order has been submitted, no cancellation will be accepted.

M. Refund/Return policy: The information provided to us, within the text field boxes contained on our site, is used exactly as provided and is not spell checked or checked for grammatical correctness. No responsibility will be taken for any spelling errors or incorrect information appearing in a Ready Resume and no refund or replacement resume will be provided.

N. Copyright: Purchasers can reproduce their Ready Resume by printing and/or sending by email for their own employment/business needs. It cannot be given to anyone else to copy formatting or content.

O. Licence Grant - Ready Resume Backgrounds

All backgrounds from the Ready Resumes collection are proprietary and copyrighted.  All rights are reserved by Ready Resumes.  This licence is granted only to the registered owner of a Ready Resume background.  Your invoice is proof of your registration.   This licence is valid with respect to the background(s) you have purchased and only if you have paid the applicable fee.   No rights may be granted to the background(s) other than the right to use the background(s) as part of a resume or personal marketing design. This is a perpetual licence and can be terminated at any time.   Ready Resumes reserves the right to discontinue the use of a background and replace it with an alternative background.   Upon notification of the discontinuance of the right to use a particular background(s), you agree not to use the background(s) in the future or to discontinue using it.

P. Ready Resumes Do It Yourself background templates are for use by those with knowledge and familiarity with appropriate word processing backgrounds. Ready Resumes backgrounds, once ordered and emailed to the customer, are non-refundable.

Q. Permitted Usage: Ready Resumes grants you, the registered user, the non-exclusive, non-transferrable right to use the backgrounds in resume submissions or other promotional materials for you, the end user.  All equipment accessing the background(s) must be at one physical location and be operating under one name.

R. Licence Restrictions: You may not
Copy or distribute copies of the background(s) to others.
Sub-licence, sell, re-sell, distribute, give away, lend, lease, or provide to others any portion of the background(s) downloaded from the Ready Resume website.
Use any background in any form of pornography, or in any other manner which is in any way embarrassing to or defamatory of any person or entity or otherwise unlawful.
Use background(s) with logos or trademarks without authorisation from the depositary of the logo or trademark.
Use the background(s) for any other purpose than a resume or personal marketing document.
